In times past, Barrow Lodge Bed and Breakfast Carlow was a well known riverside hostelry, the Flyboat Hotel. It was owned by the ancestors of George Bernard Shaw, who bequeathed it to him in their will. It is now owned and run by the Pender family, George, Mary, Danielle and Rosie who would be delighted to have you stay with them.
